Some dancers chop pieces of their costumes out to make more breathing holes, create a sexier line, or remove a ridiculous accessory that some designer pinned to the outfit in a moment of confusion.

Some other dancers have big boobs, expanding waistlines or moments of visionary design inspirations for costumes that require extra wedges of beadwork, patches of matching colours or as I recently experienced... a long-lost sequin that took a year to uncover... (would have been earier to teleport to 1984)
